In some cases, your pet may need emergency care. Cypress Creek Pet Care has the facilities and personnel to handle these critical situations. We can respond to emergencies promptly and effectively.
You should seek emergency care for your pet if he or she:
- Shows signs of heart disease
- Shows symptoms of respiratory disease
- Has a broken bone or tooth
- Has been in a fight with a wild animal
- Suffers from a digestive disorder
- Has an eye injury or a protruding eye
- Has hives or swelling around the face
- Has ingested a poison or toxic substance
- Shows symptoms of a nervous system or muscular disease
- Has problems relating to pregnancy or urination
- Has burns or a fever
- Shows signs of frostbite or hypothermia

Symptoms of Critical Conditions
Symptoms of heart disease or respiratory disease in an animal include:
- No pulse
- Blue or white gums
- Difficulty breathing or no breathing
Symptoms of a digestive disorder include:
- Inability to defecate
- Difficulty eating
- Choking
- Continuous vomiting
- Diarrhea for longer than a day
- Blood in the feces
In cases of muscular or nervous system diseases, your pet may:
- Change behavior suddenly
- Seem lethargic
- Move its eyes rapidly
- Have cloudy eyes
- Experience seizures
- Show signs of severe pain
